Clarets Due A Downturn

Burnley fans will be delighted with their start to the season but their side rank 20th of 20 for both shots taken and shots conceded so far.

Without wishing to take anything away from Sean Dyche who is doing a great job, Burnley sit in a hugely false position in the Premier League.

They are not a mid-table side and we should back West Brom to win to nil at the Hawthorns on Monday night at a best price of 19/10 with BetVictor.

If we analyse 2016-17‘s shot data so far then we see that the Clarets rank last for shots taken per match (9), shots on target per match (2.4) and shots conceded per game (20.8).

Burnley have benefitted from a couple of freak results so far but the weight of numbers will start to even out before long.

Indeed, they are getting the results closer to expectation already away from home having claimed just one point and scored only one goal on the road.

The Baggies aren’t spectacular, but as a classic Tony Pulis outfit they should have too much for these opponents with home advantage.
