Chelsea & Spurs In Title Drift
A draw suited Manchester, not London, according to the bookmakers.
The draw between Tottenham and Chelsea dented their respective title challenges without either being extinguished. Chelsea are now 25/1 (Victor Chandler) to win the Premier League, out from 18/1. Meanwhile Spurs are a best priced 28/1 (Blue Square) having also drifted from 18s.
Going into Christmas the bookmakers have it as a two horse race with Man City 8/13 (Boylesports) to hold on to their lead. Defending champions United are two points back and 2/1 (Coral) to finish top of the pile yet again.
