Chelsea 10/1 for Champions League Glory
A stunning second leg comeback has revived hope at Stamford Bridge.
After snatching victory from the jaws of defeat, Chelsea have been slashed to a best price of 10/1 (bodog) to finally win their first Champions League. The Londoners had been as long 28/1 going into the second leg trailing 3-1 against Napoli. But goals from the old guard of Drogba, Terry and Lampard took the game into extra time before Ivanovic slammed home the decisive strike.
The result was a real coup for caretaker boss Roberto Di Matteo. The former Blues midfielder saw his chances of keeping the job for the longer term greatly improved, if the odds are anything to go by. The Italian is now a best price of 11/2 (Bet365) to become the next permanent Chelsea manager; he had been as long as 12/1 with the same firm before the tie turned on its head.
