Murphy Ready To Impact On Old Farm Derby

Wily Mick McCarthy should get the best out of the 27-goal top scorer in the Championship in this crucial playoff battle.

Having already tipped Middlesbrough to go up from the play-offs, the question remains who will progress from the other semi-final.  It’s finally poised at 1-1, and the best bet might be to back a goalscorer.

Daryl Murphy has dominated the Championship with 27 goals in 2014-15 - six more than his nearest rivals, Troy Deeney and Jordan Rhodes. The Ipswich Town Player of the Year now aims to fire his side to Wembley and he’s a respectable 12/5 to find the net anytime with Boylesports.

The former Celtic and Sunderland striker finished the regular season with four goals in four matches to return to top form when it matters most.

Murphy came close to grabbing a winner at Portman Road but he could silence the Carrow Road faithful instead on Saturday.
