Man City Can Lay Down A Marker
There was little to pick between PSG and Chelsea in the first leg of their last-16 encounter and Man City have better finishers.
Man City’s campaign for the Premier League title has unravelled but in Europe there have been some good performances. They topped Group D after a slow start and knocked out Dynamo Kyiv in the last-16 with an excellent away performance.
The difficulty level goes up a notch with PSG but they shouldn’t be overawed.
Chelsea lost 2-1 in Paris in the last-16 but PSG weren’t entirely convincing.
xG map for PSG-Chelsea. Looks like an even match in which a little bit of finishing made the difference for PSG. pic.twitter.com/wm3oTIaxwh

In the first leg Michael Caley couldn’t split the teams on expected goals and that is visually the impression I got. Chelsea were defeated by better finishing and better goalkeeping.
Man City are certainly no worse than Chelsea and with a bit better luck and Sergio Aguero to finish, there is every chance they can succeed where their Premier League peers failed. An away win at 9/2 (Betfair Sportsbook) is the play.
