Champions League Quarter Final Betting
The draw has not been kind to the English teams. United face Chelsea. We have the latest betting.
On paper it turned out to be a difficult draw for the English teams, with all their prices drifting in the outright market. The quarter finals of the Champions League are as follows:
Inter Milan v Schalke 04
Barcelona v Shakhtar Donetsk
Chelsea v Man Utd
Real Madrid v Tottenham
On paper Barcelona and Inter have the easiest draws and have been cut to 5/4 and 8/1 respectively.
The bookmakers can’t split United and Chelsea with William Hill going 5/4 each of two, that they progress the furthest of the English teams. Spurs are 3/1 in the same market.
Tottenham have been pushed out to 25/1 (from 14/1) in the outright market as they will have to cause another upset in knocking out Real Madrid.
The dream ‘Premier League’ final at Wembley now looks a long shot, with Skybet going a very skinny 14/1.
