Champions League Betting: Barcelona Still Favourites
Arsenal stun Barcelona but the bookmakers are betting the Catalan giants can turn it around.
At the Emirates it was the night ‘Arsenal came of age’ according to some pundits. Maybe. But the bookmakers agree with Arsene Wenger when he says Barcelona are still the favourites to progress. Bet365 go 2/5 that Barcelona qualify for the quarter finals. Arsenal are 2/1 with Skybet to progress.
In the outright betting, bookmakers are still upbeat about Barcelona’s chances. Having been 7/4 generally, Paddypower go best odds 9/4 that Barcelona lift the trophy.
North London have enjoyed an excellent couple of days and with Man Utd and Chelsea still to play supposedly weaker opposition the odds on an all English final have been cut dramatically. Skybet go 4/1 when on Tuesday morning the odds were as big as 10/1.
