Paul Lambert and Norwich City are apparently suing each other so there will be no shortage of grudge when the Canaries head to Villa Park on Saturday lunchtime.
Both teams are somewhat in the doldrums but Chris Hughton’s boys will certainly feel brighter after their terrific 1-0 victory over Arsenal last weekend.
The only goalscorer that day was Grant Holt and he looks good value at 12/5 (StanJames) in the anytime goalscorer market. The 31-year-old scored against Villa when the sides last met in May and he’s currently on a run of three in three against the might of Liverpool, Chelsea and the Gunners.
Villa have only kept one clean sheet in eight Premier league outings and there’s no doubting who the primary danger to their defence will be in this one.
