With 8 goals in his last 9 games, this Belgian star is overpriced to add to his tally.
It’s tempting to start trying to anticipate when the next Liverpool slip-up is coming but I’ve been burnt by that strategy one time too often; they are just too unpredictable at this moment in time.
However, we can take a half-way house option on Sunday by taking Christian Benteke to score against them at 9/4 (Bluesquare). The price is pretty long because of the perceived strength of the Reds but they are still vulnerable to the threat of an in-form striker.
The 22-year-old has found the net 17 times this season and scored eight in his last nine outings for Villa. Given that the Merseysiders conceded three at Southampton last time out and two at home to Spurs before that, you would have to assume Benteke would get his opportunities again on Sunday.
At this moment in time, the Belgian international looks more than likely to take at least one of those chances when they do come along.
