The former Sunderland star has a great record against the Gunners.
Whatever happens in Sunday’s FA Cup clash it seems a good bet that Darren Bent will cause the fragile Arsenal defence some problems. With six goals in his last eight Premier League games against the Gunners, he is a constant thorn in Wenger’s side. The England striker is a best price 9/4 (Ladbrokes) in the ‘anytime’ goalscorer market.
The 27-year-old scored both goals for Villa in the 2-1 victory at the Emirates last May. And the indications are that he is back in that sort of groove again at the moment. Bent has bagged three in his last four league outings including a winner at Stamford Bridge a few weeks ago. Very much a man for the big stage.
