Arsenal v Swansea Tip

With wins at Anfield, Stamford Bridge and the Emirates already, who's to say the Swans can't do it again at long odds?

You suspect that if Swansea actually won the league this season then by next August some bookies would still be pricing them up as 6/1 shots to win at Arsenal as they are tonight with Boylesports. It seems that whatever results the Welsh club achieve, their underdog price remains pretty steady.

Michael Laudrup’s boys head into their FA Cup third round replay having already won four out of five fixtures in London in 2012-13. Only last week the Swans claimed a memorable 2-0 victory at Stamford Bridge in the first leg of the Capital Cup semi-final. On the opening day of the season there was a resounding 5-0 triumph at QPR, and a further three points came at Craven Cottage.

Most pertinently of all there was a 2-0 win over the Gunners at the Emirates as recently as December. Michu grabbed the headlines again that day with a late brace but the performance was as striking as the result with the hosts outplayed for long periods.

Arsenal will be without Koscielny and Arteta this evening while Swansea have a fully fit squad to choose from. Based on the season so far, the odds are all wrong for this one.
