Djokovic Takes Centre Stage
Novak Djokovic is 2/1 favourite to retain his Wimbledon title.
New world number one and Wimbledon champion - not a bad 24 hours for Novak Djokovic. The young Serb defeated Rafeal Nadal in four sets and he is 2/1 to retain his Wimbledon crown next year. The three-time Grand Slam winner is finally getting the recognition he deserves after most tipsters - other than BettingBias - and the bookies favoured Nadal and Federer in the tournament odds throughout. The ‘big four’ still dominate the betting, with Andy Murray a standout 8/1 to win at SW19 next year.
The last major of the season is the US Open and Djokovic is 2/1 to finish his annus mirabilis with a win a Flushing Meadows. Hot on his heels is Nadal at 11/4, with Federer at 9/2 and Andy Murray 15/2.
