Six Nations Betting: Wales

A preview of Welsh chances in this year's Six Nations Championship.

Championships: 2
Grand Slams:2
Six Nations Record: P55 W25 D2 L28

Tournament Odds: 8/1

Verdict: It’s feast or famine with Welsh rugby. Twice Grand Slam winners in the last six years the other years they finished fourth or fifth. Good performances against South Africa and New Zealand sandwiched a poor draw with Fiji in the Autumn so it is tough to judge their form.

With a strong start XV but little depth Warren Gatland will be desperate not to suffer any more injuries during the tournament, there is also the question mark over where to play James Hook. If they get it right and Wales beat England in the first game it is conceivable that their final match against France is a Championship decider.
