Yarmouth Tips: My Propeller
Raced on the wrong part of the track at Haydock but still ‘won’ his mini-race comfortably.
The 4.55 Yarmouth is full of 6f horses despite the race only stretching to 5f43y. At this time of year it is probably difficult to place horses with high ratings, which is why connections are chancing their arm.
I’d rather stick with a horse with proven form at 5f – My Propeller.
She ran a fine race at Haydock on his last start. Although she finished 6th, she was one of four horses who raced against the far rail, whilst the race unfurled down the centre. She beat the horses she raced with quite comfortably and her finishing position deserves upgrading.
Lightly raced this season, she should be fresher than most and has conditions to suit. At 5/2 (Bet365) he looks difficult to beat.
