Windsor Racing Tip: Evelyn May

windsor racing

Drawn next to the pace horses, she is a big danger if reproducing the form of her Haydock win last year.

The 4.40 at Windsor is another one of those tracks where the stall numbering system has changed; it is worth watching the racing just to understand what is going on.

Although drawn away from the favoured stands rail, Evelyn May is still a horse of interest. All the pace in the race seems to be drawn high and there is a good chance the field could split, with high numbers sticking to the inside rail. Of those horses, she prefers coming off a strong pace and could have the race set up for her.

Last season her form looked in and out but on at least two occasions interference stopped her winning. Rather than being difficult, she was genuinely unlucky last year. As a result, her form has been rather overlooked and at 14/1 rates better than the price suggests.
