Buckingham Palace Stakes Tip: Our Jonathan
Drawn next to the pace and hasn’t been outside the top three all season.
Since Our Jonathan has been stepped up in trip he has been much improved. He is unlucky not to remain unbeaten at this level, having finished first and second on his last two starts. He can make it two out of three in the Buckingham Palace Stakes at 5.35.
His most eye-catching display was at Sandown. Racing down the centre, he was on the slowest part of the track, allowing Law Of The Range to nip up the rail and win. If Our Jonathan had raced with him, he certainly would have won.
With King Of Jazz and No Hubris drawn nearby, he should be close to the pace. Once rated as high as 111, he looks unexposed at the trip and well handicapped, racing off 99.
