Monday Kempton Racing Tip

Former Royal Ascot juvenile finally found her grade at Kempton this afternoon.

There is a danger that the 2.10 Kempton could be gifted to front runner Replicator, there is a complete absence of pace anywhere else in the race and he could be left to make all. He managed this last time at Kempton in a class 7 but he was hanging on at the end and probably only won because the second didn’t want to go past him, the prices on a repeat are skinny so we must look elsewhere.

Itwasonlyakiss is a lightly raced filly who had a lofty 2yo career evening running at Royal Ascot, she is not that good and still remains a Maiden but there is hope. She started last season rated 75 and struggled but down to 50 now looks a realistic mark. She made her comeback at Southwell in January and finished 7th but the run can be rated higher as she helped force the pace on a day the track was very testing and after six months off it was understandable her stamina gave way.

She went and improved on that form a fortnight later over 7f at Kempton. That day she made the running and looked the winner all the way up the home straight until she ran out of gas in the last half furlong eventually finishing 1.75 lengths third. She looks like a sprinter and down in trip if she can sit on Replcator’s shoulder her extra stamina can see he cruise by at the end, she hasn’t got a great draw but with slow starters all around her she has a chance to get a good position for the first bend.

With the favourite gambled i expect a drift with Itwasonlyakiss and potentially a bigger SP so try get on with a best odds guaranteed bookmaker.
