Haydock Tips: Queen Grace
Hasn’t finished outside the top-4 in 14 starts at the minimum trip and has clocked some fast times.
In the 2.00 Haydock, Irish raider Queen Grace has the form in the book and is a worthy favourite. Since being dropped backed to five furlongs, she hasn’t finished outside the top-4 in 14 starts.
A remarkably consistent mare, her performances improve as she works her way up the handicap. On her last start, she was a comfortable 2.25 length winner at Musselburgh and although she has gone up 8lbs since, she is eligible to race in the same grade.
On her last two starts in the UK, I’ve awarded her speed ratings consistent with a 90+ rated horse. There could still be some headroom in her handicap mark and she looks a solid bet at 10/3 (Paddy Power).
