Haydock Tips: Intibaah
Finished 2013 in fine style by winning a hot handicap at Ascot. There should be more to come from the 4-year-old and he will relish the soft conditions.
The overnight rain means the going at Haydock is soft, good to soft in places on the Flat course; ideal conditions for Intibaah.
He rounded off 2013 by winning a hot handicap at Ascot by 2.25 lengths and the form was given a boost yesterday as Normal Equilibirum, the fourth placed horse, won at Lingfield.
The small field means Dane O’Neil can dictate matters from the front and this is unlikely to suit Mass Rally, Morache Music and Hawkeyethenoo who all need cover and a strong gallop.
Annunciation and Mar Mar look nothing more than honest handicappers and this is a race Intibaah should win to justify his lofty entries in Group-class sprints.
