Haydock Tip: Ryan Style

Ryan has the Style

Won in a better grade last season and has excuses for his last two poor runs.

Traditionally the draw bias favours high drawn horses over sprint trips at Haydock. In the 7.20, Ryan Style can benefit from the highest possible draw in stall 13. Taurus Twins is the likely pace setter and drawn in stall 11 he should head towards the nearside rail. If he does then Ryan Style will be given a perfect tow into the race.

Lisa Williamson’s five year old didn’t see a racecourse until last year but it was worth the wait as he notched up three wins. The highlight was a class 3 win at Chester, a grade higher than this race. A capable horse, things went wrong towards the end of the season. Two poor draws and one race over six furlongs were not to his liking and he finished unplaced in all three.

Those lacklustre runs are excusable.  He is better than this grade and there is no reason he should be 25/1.

*PRICE UPDATE
Since the tip was posted the price has been cut to a best 16/1 with Coral. I recommend placing the bet at these odds as he is still over priced. Ryan Style is still value until he hits around the 8/1 mark.
