Haydock Tip: Cheveton
Impressive winner last time out. He returns to the scene of his victory 12 months ago.
After over looking Cheveton for the Ayr Silver Cup, I am not going to make the same mistake twice. Last year he took the Ayr Bronze Cup before winning this very race. He has been campaigned in identical fashion this year round.
Better on going described as good to soft or softer, he should get his preferred conditions, with plenty of cut in the ground. Dale Swift takes the ride, further good news, as they have struck a winning combination three times from five attempts. I cannot see anyone getting passed Cheveton, with everything in his favour.
