Carraig Mor A Real Prospect

Looked a potential Graded performer early in the season and can bounce back now Alan King’s yard are in better form.

Carraig Mor was one of the horses affected by the malaise in Alan King’s yard this winter and can make up for lost time in the 3.40 Huntingdon.

After winning on his hurdling debut by 25 lengths, he was turned over at 1/8 on his next start at Ascot. A terrible mistake at the third last contributed to his defeat but the form of the yard meant he was fighting a losing battle.

A better indication of his ability was the dominant display at Uttoxeter. The Racing Post gave him a rating of 145 after the race and he looked Graded class.

He should be beating mid-130 rated horses and is a solid bet at 6/5 (Boylesports).
