WNB Classic Tips: Andrew Putnam

Copying his brother by ensuring he makes a fast start to the season. Already has three top-10 finishes and can win soon.

Andrew Putnam is trying to follow in the footsteps of brother Michael and progress from the Web.com onto the PGA Tour and the way he’s started the season he’s got a good chance of emulating his sibling.

In six starts this year he’s finished 2-T6-T9-T15-MC-T24; a new caddie and swing coach are having the desired effect.

The 25-year-old has found extra yardage off the tee and ranks 5th for driving distance, improving from 65th last year. With his putting up to its usual high standard he should be able to make plenty of birdies this week.

Andrew Putnam looks ready to win and rates an excellent each-way bet at 33/1 (William Hill) with ¼ odds for a top-5 finish.
