Can Charl re-create the 2011 magic?
Charl Schwartzel to win US Masters 28/1 with Stan James Place Bet

Age: 28

World Ranking: 15

Major wins: 1

Augusta Record: Won here at only his second attempt in 2011. Made Masters history by becoming the only player to triumph by making four consecutive birdies on the final four holes. The defence proved a little too much for the South African, although he did make the cut, finishing T50.

Form: Arrives in much better touch than 12 months ago with a T3 at the Northern Trust Open being the highlight of a series of impressively consistent results in stroke-play events.

Verdict: Cynics will point to the fact that the man from Johannesburg didn’t finish higher than T38 in any of the four majors last year. But the course sets up well for the former champion and he arrives in good form yet without a serious weight of expectation - a great combination.
