Tiger Charge in Dubai
After a superb round of 66, Tiger Woods has moved ominously near the top of the leaderboard.
A flawless 66 from Tiger Woods has moved him to second in the Dubai Desert Classic after the morning rounds were completed. The early starters took advantage of benign conditions at the Emirates Golf Club to shoot low, with the majority of the field dipping under par.
A bogey free round from Woods leaves him three shots behind clubhouse leader Thomas Aiken and 4/1 with the bookies to win his third Dubai Desert title.
Westwood and Kaymer were unable to match their playing partner and lie five and six shots off the lead. Skybet have pushed the duo out to 11/1 and 12/1 respectively.
Level par through eight holes so far, Rory Mcilroy is clinging on to favouritism at 9/4 with Paddypower.
