Has registered three consecutive top-10s in the event and arrives after a T4 at the Northern Trust Open.
Jarrod Lyle might look like an obvious choice but it would be a poor show if a 20/1 (BetVictor) winner got away because I tried too hard to be different. Sometimes the obvious answer is the right one.
The Australian’s record in the Mayakoba Classic is formidable, with finishes of T35-T6-T9-T5 in the last four years. After a T4 finish at the Northern Trust Open last week, he arrives in top shape. Lyle ranked T10 for driving accuracy and 15th for putting at Riviera CC, two elements that need to be working well.
