CIMB Classic Tips: Lee Westwood

Won at Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club earlier in the year and encouraging T12 at the Frys.com Open.

The CIMB Classic is a PGA and Asian Tour co-sanctioned event but for past form we need to look to the European Tour.

The Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club also hosts the Malaysian Open, won earlier in the year by Lee Westwood. He therefore has the unique opportunity to win on the same course twice in the same calendar year.

The Malaysian Open took place in April but there are signs the Englishman is returning to form.

Westwood made his seasonal reappearance at the Frys.com Open finishing T12, his highest placing in the US since his T6 at the Players Championship.

The 41-year-old has an excellent record in the Far East, having won seven times on the Asian Tour and is a good each-way bet at 20/1 (Boylesports).
