Chile Classic Tips: Andrew Putnam

His charge up the leaderboard was halted by the weather in Colombia but he can make amends in Chile.

After his performance in Colombia, Andrew Putnam is the obvious place to start.

The 25-year-old finished second behind Alex Cejka and got to within one shot of the lead before the final round was abandoned.

Considering he suffered from food poisoning earlier in the week,  it was a fine performance.

In his second year on the Web.com Tour, Putnam will be familiar with the courses and he should build on last year’s T47.

Twelve months ago no one bettered his closing round of 65 and he looks primed to strike at 40/1 (Stan James).
