Brasil Champions Tips: Greg Eason

Greg Eason tip

Arrived via the PGA Tour Canada and has settled quickly with a top-10 already. Currently fourth on tour for birdie average.

Ian Poulter and Paul Casey have gone close to winning in the United States in recent weeks and we might have an Englishman winning on an American tour very soon.

That person could be the unheralded Greg Eason.

Eason was born and bred in Leicester but came through the American college system like many of his peers.

The 22-year-old arrived on the Web.com via the PGA Tour Canada, where he enjoyed four top-5 finishes last season.

Eason missed his first cut at the Cartagena de Indias last week but before that, he finished T6 at the Colombia Championship and currently lies fourth on tour for birdie average and ninth for actual scoring.

With the ability to go low, he should enjoy the relatively easy test in Brazil this week. We might be hearing quite a lot more about this young golfer and at 66/1 (Coral) he is a good bet.
