West Ham On The Brink

avram grant almost out of time

It is any three from six but West Ham look like they need a miracle to stay in the Premier League.

With the top of the Premier League virtually settled focus will turn to the relegation battle for the remaining two weeks. For the first time in a long while, the bookmakers have settled on their candidates for the drop. The current three are all odds on to go down.

Sunday’s Black Country derby could be the turning point. Wolves gaining a crucial three points to move them out of the drop zone. Mick McCarthy’s men are now 7/4 to fall through the trap door.

Rooted to the bottom of the table, West Ham look almost doomed at 1/8. The draw at home to Blackburn in a ‘must win’ game, leaves the Hammers with the daunting prospects of Championship football next season.
