WBA v Fulham Tip
The hosts really should be heavily odds-on to take three points here.
Fulham are traditionally poor travellers at the best of times which this certainly isn’t. The Cottagers have only won once in their last 12 top flight matches anywhere and they’re slipping into a relegation battle. West Brom, on the other hand, are enjoying their best ever Premier League campaign built on outstanding form at the Hawthorns.
When comparing the Baggies’ home record (W7 D1 L2) with Fulham’s away statistics (W1 D4 L5) you realise that the hosts should really be odds-on to triumph on New Year’s Day; at best odds of evens (Bet365) there is therefore some value in just backing the obvious.
Martin Jol will be a worried man. The recent fixture list hasn’t been particularly tough but the bad results have kept on coming for the Londoners. The only team to lose to QPR, they have just taken one solitary point from Craven Cottage meetings with Southampton and Swansea. The trip to the west Midlands will surely only be tougher.
