Warnock Sacked: Next QPR Manager Odds

Hughes could be in demand

Arguably the biggest shock of FA Cup 3rd Round weekend came right at the end - when QPR gave Neil Warnock the boot.

Neil Warnock had said he thought the last minute equaliser his side scored to stay in the FA Cup on Saturday could be “the turning point of the season.” Sadly for the former Sheffield Utd and Crystal Palace boss, his board had other ideas.

Now QPR will look to fill the void before the replay with MK Dons, and ideally before the next Premier League game on January 15 at home to Newcastle.

The bookies have been quick to install former Manchester City manager Mark Hughes as the overwhelming favourite for the vacant post at best odds of 1/2 with PaddyPower. Former Chelsea legend Gianfranco Zola gets a look in at 4/1 (WilliamHill), with Rafa Benitez at 9/1 (StanJames).
