Hoopla Over Rodgers

QPR have been written off by all and sundry but they will still look at their last two fixtures and fancy they can beat Newcastle and Leicester. Even that means they probably need at least two or three points out of trips to the Etihad and Anfield. Daunting, but not impossible.

Chris Ramsey has got his side bossing matches and if results catch up with performances then victory over Liverpool isn’t a forlorn hope at 8/1. The Hoops could easily have taken six points off Chelsea and West Ham but let’s not forget they have scored seven times in their last two away games.

Brendan Rodgers is on a hiding to nothing after hopes of a top-four finish finally evaporated in defeat at Hull on Tuesday. Sturridge is probably out for the season now and after collecting four points from a possible 15, it could get worse before it gets better.
