United Edge Closer
Another round chalked off as Manchester United remain strong favourites for the title.
The race for the Premier League remains unchanged as the top three all recorded wins. United are 2/11 to win the title and Arsenal are 6/1 to overhaul them; the same price they were at the start of the weekend. Eleven points back but with a game in hand lie 16/1 outsiders Chelsea.
The top goalscorer market is a lot closer with Dimitar Berbatov taking his tally to 21 for the season, two ahead of Carlos Tevez. With the Bulgarian uncertain to start every game he is only a slight favourite at evens to top the charts, with the City hit man 11/10.
Tottenham hung on for a desperately needed three points in the race for the final Champions League spot. Harry Redknapp’s team lie three points behind Man City but with a significantly worse goal difference they are 10/3 to get that valuable fourth spot.
