Barnsley are bidding to pull off the great escape again and a match against bored mid-table opponents could help.

On the face of it, Bolton should stroll to victory, but the hosts really have nothing to play for having steadied the ship and found themselves in 14th place and in no danger of doing anything exciting at either end of the table. Dougie Freedman may have done enough to keep his job for next season but the Trotters have been ultimately mediocre.
Barnsley are 23rd but not quite dead and buried thanks to consecutive away victories at Reading (1-3) and Yeovil (1-4). A third in a row would set-up a dramatic clash with Charlton on Tuesday night.
