Tottenham v Swansea: Anytime Goalscorer Tip
With 12 goals in 16 league outings, there's no doubting the primary goal threat to Spurs this afternoon.
The outright top scorer in the Premier League coming into the weekend, Michu remains an eye-catching best price of 12/5 (PaddyPower) in the anytime goalscorer market on Sunday.
That statistic probably justifies the wager in itself, but wen can add some meat to the bone with a bit more investigation. The bookies clearly think this is a fixture that the Spaniard is unlikely to score in, but these factors would suggest he has every chance.
Firstly, Spurs have a pretty dismal record of keeping clean sheets so far under Andre Villas-Boas. In fact, there has been just one shut-out for the hosts at White Hart Lane in eight Premier League matches to date. The continued absence of Younes Kaboul is likely to be felt, particulartly against the 6ft 3in Michu.
Furthermore, the 26-year-old has scored 6 of his 13 goals this season away from the Liberty Stadium. After he bagged a brace at the Emirates just a fortnight ago, we probably shouldn’t doubt his, or Swansea’s credentials against the big sides any longer.
