Tottenham v Man Utd Tip

A man for the big occasion who found the net at Old Trafford in September.

With the sensational form that Manchester United are on it’s easy to forget that Tottenham ended their 23-year hoodoo at Old Trafford in September and now they are looking for the double.

One man who played a major part that evening was Gareth Bale who crowned an impressive display with the second goal in the 3-2 victory. He is 15/2 to score the last goal of the afternoon on Sunday with PaddyPower; the Irish firm will refund all losing bets if Robin Van Persie finds the net last instead - a distinct possibility!

But Tottenham’s flying winger tends to save his best for the biggest stages if we think back to his virtuoso displays against both Milan clubs in the Champions League not so long ago. He has also scored against not only United, but Arsenal and Liverpool already this season.

It’s less than a month since Bale fired a second half hat-trick against Villa which demonstrated his ability to stretch teams with his pace and stamina, particularly as a match goes on. The likes of Ferdinand will certainly not fancy a foot race with the Welsh star in the latter stages at White Hart Lane; the 23-year-old could deliver for us as a result.

*If Robin van Persie scores last, Paddy Power will refund all losing First Goalscorer, Last Goalscorer, Correct Score & Scorecast singles. Max refund £100.
