Swansea v QPR Football Tip

Running Hoops

QPR’s defence can enjoy some respite whilst their forwards carry enough goal threat to win the game.

For all the praise that has been heaped on Swansea’s pass and move football they have problems. They scarcely could have played better in their first 17 games of the season yet lie 14th, only four points above the relegation zone.

Their main problem has been scoring goals, only 16 this season, making them the second lowest scoring team in the division. This is good news for QPR who have been shambolic in defence recently.

Having gifted Sunderland two goals, QPR showed great determination to draw level. Ambition got the better of them as they conceded a late winner but overall their display was encouraging, especially in the second half.

With players like Helguson, Wright-Phillips and Barton, the west London team should carry far more goal threat than their opponents. Swansea are yet to score any points after going behind in their games. If QPR get their noses in front I’d expect them to go on and pick up the three points at a generous 3/1 with Betfred.
