Swansea Can Derail Arsenal Title Challenge
Swansea are a bigger price to earn a point at the Emirates than they were at White Hart Lane, even though Tottenham are the better team.
Swansea were around the 15/2 mark to win at White Hart Lane on Saturday so why are they 9/1 to win at the Emirates?
Tottenham are currently ahead of Arsenal in the Premier League title betting so we must accept they are the better team, something not reflected in the mid-week prices.
Swansea relied on a stellar performance from Lukasz Fabianski to keep them in the game on Sunday but with 20 minutes remaining they were on course to get at least a point.
Swansea have endured a difficult season but only once have they lost (or won) by more than one goal in the last 12 games and that was when they were reduced to 10 men against Sunderland.
Arsenal’s title challenge is listing after defeat at Old Trafford and Swansea are an excellent 23/10 (Paddy Power) in the double chance market to pile on the misery.
