QPR v Swansea Tip

Sinclair should return.

The Swans are wrongly priced as big underdogs despite being 11 points better off and having had more recovery time.

Swansea have won every match against other teams currently in the bottom eight of the table in 2012. Aston Villa, WBA, Wigan and Fulham have all been beaten on their own patches since the turn of the year; not to mention Arsenal and Man City at the Liberty Stadium. The Swans are a bargain at 13/5 (Boylesports) to beat QPR, a team 11 points worse off and potentially facing relegation.

The biggest problem the Hoops are having is keeping 11 men on the pitch. Shaun Derry is the latest man to face a suspension and the hosts will miss his tenacity against a side famed for its ball retention. I also think I’d struggle to ever back a team at 6/5 (PaddyPower) who haven’t kept a clean sheet in their last 23 league games.

Brendan Rodgers rested Danny Graham and Scott Sinclair for the Good Friday clash with Newcastle, but both influential players should return on Wednesday for the visitors. Mark Hughes will surely be concerned that those two will be refreshed, while his boys played 75 minutes with 10 men at Old Trafford, two days after Swansea’s last outing.
