Saints To Overcome Tigers
One of these teams wins 1-0 a lot and the other loses 1-0 a lot.
No team has won more games 1-0 in the top flight this season than Southampton and no team has lost more times by that scoreline than Hull. So, how about the Saints to win 1-0 today at best odds of 5/1 with a firm who will refund if it ends goalless instead?
Ronald Koeman’s boys may have fallen away from Champions League contention, but they still retain the best defence in the Premier League;they have conceded one goal or fewer in 27 of their 31 fixtures.
The problems have come down the other end. Graziano Pelle hasn’t found the net in the league since Christmas trees were going up and the team have only scored 5 in their last 9 outings in total.
Hull know how those sequences go, but without the great defence to fall back on. The Tigers haven’t beaten any side currently in the top 10 in 2014-15 and that’s why they are fighting for their lives.
