Arsenal have a dismal record in the Potteries and City, United and Chelsea have all come unstuck at Stoke already this season.
I’ve kicked myself for not always taking a great price on Stoke to win at home to one of the big boys already this season. Chelsea, Man City and Man Utd have all come a cropper at the Britannia Stadium.
It’s not like Arsenal tend to fare better. Far from it. The Gunners are winless in five league visits to the Potteries and have lost the last two. Odds of 29/10 on the home win are therefore a gift.
The Londoners arrive with some shaky away form anyway (W1 D2 L2). The title hopefuls have conceded seven on their last two road trips and deep down, Wenger must be fearing the worst on Sunday.
