Fulham v Swansea Tip

Has 3 goals in his last 2 games and now a seriously jittery defence awaits.

Nobody is leaking goals with quite the regularity of Fulham just at the moment. The Cottagers have conceded 11 in their last three across all competitions and it could have been even worse had Man Utd or Liverpool really kept pushing for the full 90 minutes.

This makes strikers facing Martin Jol’s team an obvious place to start when considering the anytime goalscorer market this weekend. The man I’m going to side with is Swansea’s record signing Wilfried Bony who is 15/8 (StanJames) to find the net at some point.

The £12m recruit has taken some time to settle in south Wales but there are now signs that he is ready to really make his mark in the Premier League. The Ivory Coast international scored twice against Stoke in his last club appearance before heading off to help his country reach the World Cup finals. His most recent match against Senegal was last Saturday so he will have had plenty of time to recover from the long trip by kick-off.

Bony was the top scorer in Holland’s top league in 2012-13 with 37 goals from 36 games so he arrived with a big reputation. He has since added 10 in 18 for Swansea in all competitions; if his best is yet to come then the future must surely look bright.
