Fulham v Man City: Dimitar Berbatov To Score Anytime

Scored in his last two and having 3 times more shots per 90min under Meulensteen than Jol.

As discussed in our news article, Fulham are much improved since the appointment of René Meulensteen, particularly as an attacking threat.

Fulham are averaging 10 more shots per game than they did under Jol and the main beneficiary has been Dimitar Berbatov.

Dimitar Berbatov Shot Statistics

The Bulgarian striker has scored in his last two games but more importantly his shot stats are trending in the right direction.

Berbatov was managing a measly 1.3 shots per 90min under Martin Jol but that has jumped to 4.0 shots per 90min under Meulensteen; the sort of numbers a striker of his calibre should be registering.

The bookmakers have been slow to recognise this revitalised Berbatov and at 4/1 (Betfred) he is a big price to score anytime against Man City this weekend.
