Free Scoring City Can Win To Nil
Seven on City’s victories this season have come with a clean sheet. We are getting 7/2 on a 2/1 shot.
Man City have been breathtaking. They have won 10 of their last 11 league matches, scoring a bucket-load of goals in the process.
They face a Tottenham team who have improved their results under Tim Sherwood although their points total flatters the new boss.
Spurs have won five of their last six matches but they have conceded 21 shots on target during that period and only registered 26 shots themselves. In summary, 16 points from a possible 18 is overachieving considering the 5 shot differential.
I expect Man City to win at White Hart Lane but we can improve on the evens (Coral) outright match odds.
City’s attacking prowess has taken all the plaudits, which means their defensive qualities have been overlooked. Manuel Pellegrini’s men have won seven league games (32%) without conceding this season. That would normally make them a 2/1 chance to win to nil, therefore 13/4 with Coral must be snapped up.
