When you think of hotshots, you ought to think of Alvaro Negredo (4/7), particularly when he lines up in front of his own adoring fans. ‘The beast’ has found the net in an astonishing nine consecutive matches at the Etihad Stadium so he’ll fancy his chances of making it a perfect ten against Crystal Palace.
Next up we’re taking Wayne Rooney (10/11) to push on from his spectacular volley against Hull on Boxing Day. It was vintage Rooney and added gloss to a 2013-14 campaign which is fast becoming one of the England striker’s finest. The 28-year-old has now scored his last five Man Utd goals away from Old Trafford so he’ll be confident of adding to his tally at Carrow Road.
Finally, we’re pinning our hopes on Swansea record singing Wilfried Bony (9/4) adding to Paul Lambert’s recent woes. The £12m signing scored 51 times in 69 appearances for Vitesse Arnhem and there have been flickers of that form at the Liberty Stadium. Michael Laudrup is likely to start Bony at Villa Park; the hosts have lost four on the bounce and will be vulnerable.
