Aguero Can Reignite City Title Hopes

He's had a tough couple of months with injury but before that he was looking almost as lethal as Suarez.

With Manchester City desperate for three points and a morale boost following their 3-2 defeat at Anfield, Manuel Pellegrini looks poised to return Sergio Aguero to his starting line-up. The Argentinian suffered no ill effects during his comeback off the bench on Sunday.

Sunderland are rock bottom and seemingly certainties for relegation after a run of one point from eight matches. They through in the towel in their last away match at Tottenham, losing 5-1 having led, and the Etihad will be an unforgiving venue on Wednesday night.

Aguero still has outstanding goalscoring statistics for the season despite his spells on the sidelines. The 25-year-old has found the net 26 times in 29 club appearances in 2013-14. The 8/13 on him striking anytime is ok, but Skybet seem to have somewhat forgotten his prowess offering a best price 3/1 on the City star scoring two or more goals.

The former Atletico man has already bagged at least a brace six times this season and at home to the dejected basement boys he can do it again.
