Blackburn v West Brom:

Steve Kean enjoyed his first win as Blackburn manager last December at WBA; they are 18/1 (Boylesports) to repeat the 3-1 triumph on their own patch. But any home win at 7/5 (WilliamHill) is seen as a necessity. Perhaps a more likely outcome is 0-0 (14/1 Sportingbet) for the two lowest scorers in the division. The away win is 11/5 (Betfred).

Everton v Norwich:

Apostolos Vellios is the only Evertonian with more than two league goals this season, and he only has three; he is 6/1 (PaddyPower) to break the deadlock in this one. The Toffees beat Wolves and Bolton in November courtesy of second half deciders; they are 7/2 (Skybet) to win after being level at half-time again. Canaries keeper John Ruddy spent five years at Goodison where he was picked only once. He is 10/1 (Bet365) to keep a clean sheet with Norwich as the only goalscorers.

Fulham v Bolton:

The Cottagers won this corresponding fixture 3-0 last term with Clint Dempsey bagging a brace; a repeat scoreline is 14/1 (Ladbrokes) with the American 9/1 (Bluesquare) to grab two or more again. Basement boys Bolton are 5/1 (Bet365) to stop the rot with a victory; Ivan Klasnic is their main goal threat and he’s 3/1 (Coral) in the ‘anytime’ market.

Newcastle v Swansea:

The Magpies have won every time they have scored first this season (7) so maybe a good bet is Newcastle to be winning at half-time and full-time at 2/1 (Bluesquare). Demba Ba has 11 in 11 and is 7/2 (Boylesports) in the first goalscorer betting. Swansea are 4/1 (PaddyPower) to finally win away, and 13/2 (Bet365) to be the only goalscorers - with seven clean sheets so far, they lead the division along with Man Utd.

Wolves v Stoke:

Mick McCarthy will be demanding a faster start from the only Premier League side without a goal in the opening 20 minutes all season. Wolves have led just once at half-time, they are 9/4 (StanJames) to do so this time. Steven Fletcher has three in his last two; he’s 6/1 (Coral) to break the deadlock. Stoke are 2/1 (VictorChandler) to record a fourth straight league win, and 7/2 (StanJames) to win by one goal for a third time on the spin.

Wigan v Chelsea:

You won’t find many league matches where the hosts are 17/2 (VictorChandler) long shots. But after losing this fixture 0-6 at the start of least season, just keeping the score down would be an improvement. Chelsea beat the league leaders on Monday, and actually look good value at 5/2 (Coral) to win by three or more. Didier Drogba scored a hat-trick against the Latics in May 2010 and he’s 25/1 (SkyBet) to notch another three.

QPR v Man Utd:

For all their injuries and European woes the champions can return to the top of the tree, at least for a few hours, with three points here. They remain masters of the 1-0 away win - there have been three in a row in the league - a fourth is 6/1 (WilliamHill). The Hoops are 7/1 (Coral) to claim another major scalp. Heider Helguson has six in his last seven; he’s 7/2 (Skybet) to score in 90 minutes.

Aston Villa v Liverpool:

Stewart Downing returns to his old stomping ground for the first time and he’s 11/2 (Bet365) to mark his return with a goal. That said, he is yet to claim a goal or assist for Liverpool. Emile Heskey’s expected to line-up for the hosts against his old team; he’s 4/1 (Bet365) to find the net for the second time this season. Villa are 17/5 (VictorChandler) underdogs, with the Reds at evens (PaddyPower).

Tottenham v Sunderland:

With 105 shots on target so far, Spurs lead the league for potent shooting, despite playing a game less than everyone but Everton. Redknapp’s team are 11/4 (Coral) to win by three or more again, but three points is the main priority after last Sunday’s setback at Stoke. Sunderland enjoyed a fairytale start under Martin O’Neill after two goals in the last six minutes secured victory; they are 8/1 (Betfred) to win at White Hart Lane. The draw is 4/1 (VictorChandler).

Man City v Arsenal:

An appetitising Sunday headliner could be a goal-fest with 21 scored in the last six meetings between these two in Manchester; more than three goals in the match is 6/4 (Bet365). Samir Nasri is 5/2 (Skybet) to score at some point and rub salt into his old team’s wounds. But Arsenal are 9/2 (Boylesports) to be the second London victors over City this week.
