Stoke v Blackburn:

The Potters won this fixture 1-0 in 2010-11 with a goal from Jon Walters. That scoreline is 13/2 (WilliamHill), with the Irish international the same price (13/2 StanJames) to break the deadlock again. Rovers fans think the 99th minute equaliser at Wigan last week could be a turning point; the away win is 15/4 (Bluesquare).

Bolton v Everton:

Gary Cahill has scored the last two times Everton have visited the Reebok; he is 9/1 (PaddyPower) to extend that run. Bolton are the only team without a draw this season - a 12/5 shot (Ladbrokes). The Toffees last won here in 2008 when Marouane Fellaini scored a last-minute winner; he is 14/1 (Boylesports) to be final goalscorer again.

Chelsea v Wolves:

The Blues won this clash 2-0 at Stamford Bridge last season and the repeat is 6/1 (WilliamHill). Malouda broke the deadlock that day and he is 15/2 (Bluesquare) in the first goalscorer betting. Wolves are 14/1 (Bet365) to send the hosts into full-blown crisis by inflicting a third consecutive home defeat.

Man Utd v Newcastle:

Javier Hernandez has scored five league goals this campaign, but none at Old Trafford; he is 15/4 (Bet365) to open the scoring on Saturday. United are 6/5 (WilliamHill) to win with another clean sheet. The Toon Army are 9/1 (StanJames) to take all the points at this venue for the first time since 1972.

Norwich v QPR:

Steve Morison could become the first Canary to score in four consecutive top flight matches; he is 7/4 (Bet365) in the ‘anytime’ market. Norwich are the only team in the Premier League to lead two games and lose this season. Lambert’s side to be winning at half-time but losing by the end is 40/1 (Sportingbet).

Sunderland v Wigan:

The Black Cats triumphed 4-2 when they met here in April - a 66/1 shot (StanJames) this time. Bottom club Athletic pursue a first win in ten at 9/2 (Coral). Both bosses remain under fire; Bruce is 4/1 (PaddyPower) and Martinez 10/3 (PaddyPower) in the next manager to leave their post betting.

West Brom v Tottenham:

Roy Hodgson’s side are fast starters having scored 10 goals in the first 16 minutes of matches; the Baggies are 7/2 (StanJames) to be leading at the break. These teams played out two draws in 2010-11 - another one is 13/10 (Bet365). Spurs have scored at least a couple in nine consecutive league games; they are 5/1 (SkyBet) to win by 2 goals.

Arsenal V Fulham:

The Gunners are 6/4 (WilliamHill) to take three points and keep a clean sheet - the visitors have managed just six goals in 10 visits to Arsenal. Fulham keeper Mark Schwarzer has shut out the opposition five times this campaign though; perhaps a 0-0 draw at 16/1(Bluesquare) could be the surprise outcome.

Swansea v Aston Villa:

Both top flight encounters between these sides in Wales have ended in 2-1 Swansea victories - a further repeat is 8/1 (Ladbrokes). However, the last of those meetings came in 1983, and Villa have won 14 out of 17 clashes in all competitions. McLeish’s troops are 12/5 (Totepsort) to claim a vital three points.

Liverpool v Man City:

The game of the weekend. A 3-0 win for the Reds came as recently as April, but nobody sees that happening again - if you disagree, it’s 33/1 (Betfred). Andy Carroll got off the mark for his new club that night, but he’s frequently on the bench these days. Perhaps he warrants consideration in the last goalscorer market at 10/1 (StanJames). City are 17/10 (WilliamHill) to win an eighth in a row and 11/1 (Skybet) to do so by three or more yet again.
