Premier League Accumulator: Southampton & Fulham

Both teams contain dangerous strikers and are capable of causing minor upsets.

Having already discussed the merits of Southampton and Fulham I think it’s worth taking the plunge on them both winning at combined odds of 41/1 with Bet365.

Everton are riding high in the league but I’d be surprised if they were still in the top-4 come the end of the season. Southampton also occupy a slightly false position in the league having endured a torrid start with matches against Arsenal and both Manchester clubs. I think the teams are more closely matched than their league positions suggest. Buoyed by a stirring victory last weekend, Southampton look overpriced at 8/1 (Bet365) to win at Goodison Park.

Over the years Fulham have proved notoriously difficult to beat at Craven Cottage and they could cause a minor upset by beating City at 15/4 (Bet365). The visitors are struggling to recapture last season’s championship winning form and a midweek defeat at the hands of Aston Villa won’t have helped their confidence. They face a Fulham team who have won 47% of their home games over the last 5 seasons, and in Dimitar Berbatov they have a striker who can cause even the best defence problems.

Combined Southampton and Fulham wins are a best price 41/1 (Bet365); big odds considering we only need two results to go our way.
